 My experience with distance learning came at a time in my life similar to many which was in 2020 at the start of the corona virus pandemic. It was half way through my senior year of high school and lasted until my sophomore year of college. While I had to participate in distance learning under unfortunate circumstances, it did have its perks. It allowed me to have a little more control over my education schedule and I had access to all classroom resources at home.  Open educational resources at resources that anyone can use at anytime and are typically distributed online. Brain pop is an example of an open educational resource. It provides educational videos on a variety of subjects for a multitude of grade levels. Its free and you do not need an account to have access to the site.  Brain Pop

Creating the website was an enjoyable experience. It was good practice for creating future class sites, and allowed me to better understand what information will be expected to be given. The creative freedom to design the website as we please made the assignment more interesting and allowed for personal touches. I did however, forget to modify one of the images before I turned in the assignment, but I have made that change now.  Classroom Website Diego is incredibly useful in the classroom for a multitude of reasons. It allows for collaboration between students and teachers, and is a great tool for annotating documents. This website can be a useful tool outside of the classroom as well and in other professions. Being able to collaboratively annotate documents can be helpful for many job fields.  School is where many students, like myself,  are first introduced to advanced technologies such as desktop computers and smart boards.
